Dr. Carrie Lehman is one of the rare Nashville natives who grew up in Hendersonville. After graduating from Hendersonville High School, she attended Rhodes College in Memphis and received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy. Her studies opened up the world with a semester abroad in England, Italy, Greece, and Turkey. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in 2004, focused upon family eyecare.
Dr. Lehman spent 16 years in a multi-specialty optometry practice in Memphis, TN, where she was recognized as one of the most compassionate and brilliant on staff. In February 2020, love for family and friends brought her back home to Hendersonville, where she excitedly joined the Johnson i-Care family. She practices full-scope optometry caring for patients of all ages. Her primary strength is in balancing being knowledgeable along with an excellent bedside manner. She excels in providing her patients the best possible eye health exam, as well as optimal and comfortable glasses and contact lens prescriptions.
Dr. Lehman truly carries a heartfelt commitment to family, friends and scores of patients who request her by name everyday. Her coworkers describe her as caring, informative, hard-working, witty, conscientious, intriguing and genuine. Dr. Lehman is a lover of live music, cooking and travelling, as well as a movie buff with gifted passion for trivia.
